About The Position

The Assembler builds skid systems that include pumps, agitators, piping, and valves. The role requires mechanical assembly, attention to detail, and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications. The Assembler reports to the Production Manager unless otherwise designated.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Mechanical assembly experience and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree, comparable relevant on-the-job experience, and/or certifications.
• 1–3 years of prior welding and/or assembler experience.
• Experience operating small equipment, such as a skid steer or forklift.
• Experience working with pumps, agitators, conveyors, loaders, and filter presses.

Responsibilities

• Build and install pumps, agitators, piping, and valves onto skid platforms according to specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and instructions to assemble components accurately.
• Measure, cut, and fit piping; install valves and ensure proper alignment and connections.
• Use appropriate tools to fasten and mount pumps, agitators, and other mechanical components.
• Inspect assembled skids to confirm components are installed correctly and meet quality standards.
• Identify and correct assembly issues to ensure proper operation of the finished product.
• Maintain clean, organized tools and workspaces and follow safe work practices.
• Follow all policies and procedures established by DISA.
• Attend and participate in required safety trainings.
• Assist with tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
