About The Position
The Assembler supports the unit in achieving production targets by following established systems and processes. The role uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor and involves reading and interpreting technical diagrams and instructions to assemble products, systems, or panels. The position contributes to ABB’s Smart Power Business Unit in Senatobia, Mississippi, and is onsite.
Requirements
- 0–3 months of experience in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or certificate required.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or finished products, systems, or panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
- Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
- Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Use shop-floor machinery and equipment and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions.
