Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift heavy boxes/shelves/racks
• Ability to stand for most of the day
• Use hand tools, cordless tools, cutting tools and pneumatic tools
• Solid background in using basic mechanical skills ensuring solid comfort in using a variety of tools; not limited to saws, drills, utility knives, hand tools
• Comfortable in using tape measure and measuring accurately
• Candidates must successfully complete criminal background check and submit to a motor vehicle background check

Nice To Haves

• Vocational school a plus
• Experience with operating a Forklift preferred

Responsibilities

• Locate, unbox and assemble various aftermarket, steel and aluminum truck and van equipment; this includes shelving, ladder racks, partitions and other equipment.
• Assist the install technicians as needed.
• Read and follow basic mechanical instructions and do so in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
