Part-Time Assembler (Nights - Entry level pay starting at $19.00/hr + nights shift differential
About The Position
This is a part-time, entry-level position with night shift hours. The Assembler will use a variety of hand and power tools to correctly assemble products, operate rigging and lifting devices safely, and assemble assigned product parts according to standard work instructions. The role involves reporting quality, equipment, and material issues to supervisors, completing documentation in a timely manner, and working effectively in both individual and team environments. Maintaining good housekeeping and clean work areas is also a key responsibility. Additional duties may be assigned based on location and product line. Requirements
- Typically requires a high school diploma and up to 2 years of experience.
- Read and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules, standard work instructions written in English.
- Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to use hand tools in a safe and proper manner.
- Understands SQDE Metrics, LDMS, Issue boards, 5S.
Nice To Haves
- Based on department, may be required to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.
- JSA completion, Forklift Operations, PPE identification and usage, Crane Training, hazard awareness/identification, Lift table operations, Rigging safety
