About The Position

M-B Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in Chilton, is hiring an assembler to build surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specifications. The role assembles and adjusts components, installs and tests electrical and other parts, inspects assemblies for compliance, and performs cleaning, lubrication, repairs, and rework. Assemblers also maintain production information and may pack, move, and stage products and parts.

Requirements

Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
Ability to fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

Assemble product components according to established specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
Fit, trim, align, and adjust parts and components; attach hardware and seal assemblies.
Solder, lug, route, and tie electrical components, and calibrate units to specifications.
Test installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality; inspect assemblies for compliance with applicable requirements.
Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies; rework, repair, or replace faulty components.
Record component lot codes and assemblies built.
Disassemble products, replace parts, and assist with staging parts for painting as required.
Enter information into established computer systems, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
Crate, pack, and move finished goods.
