About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembler III for its San Jose, California facility. The role supports Integrated Supply Chain production activities, focusing on mechanical box builds and hand soldering to IPC 610 standards. The production group builds advanced microwave subsystems for applications such as missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners, and synthesized sources. The Assembler contributes to manufacturing quality and productivity by supporting complex subsystem and circuit card assembly.

Requirements

At least 3 years of prior work experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid, and/or semiconductor assembly.
Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers and experience working under a microscope.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person under applicable U.S. export laws, or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills, including the ability to complete online training, use email, and use computerized timekeeping.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to carefully follow written instructions.
Ability to solder small surface-mount and through-hole parts.
IPC 610 certification.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical assembly support for complex microwave subsystems in a production environment, meeting daily output goals established by the lead.
Build circuit card assemblies, including manually soldering surface-mount and through-hole components.
Apply conformal coating after soldering.
Follow production documentation and processes carefully, including maintaining detailed records of rework.
Participate in daily production meetings.
