About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembler II for its San Jose, California facility. The role supports production of advanced microwave subsystems, including missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners, and synthesized sources. Work focuses on mechanical box builds and hand soldering to IPC 610 standards, as well as building circuit card assemblies and applying conformal coating. The assembler follows production documentation and processes, records rework, works toward daily output goals, and participates in daily production meetings.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working as a mechanical/solder assembler in a production environment.
Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers, and experience working under a microscope.
Basic computer skills.
Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export laws, or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
Ability to complete online training, use email, and perform computerized timekeeping.
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to carefully follow written instructions.

Nice To Haves

Ability to solder small surface-mount and through-hole parts; IPC 610 certification is a plus.
Experience using automated assembly equipment, including pick-and-place and wire-bonding machines.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical assembly support for complex microwave subsystems while meeting daily output goals established by the lead.
Build circuit card assemblies by manually soldering surface-mount and through-hole components and applying conformal coating after soldering.
Follow production documentation and processes, keeping detailed records of rework performed.
Participate in daily production meetings.
