About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Assembler III at its San Jose, California facility. The role supports Integrated Supply Chain production operations and focuses on mechanical box builds and hand soldering in accordance with IPC 610. The assembler will work on advanced microwave subsystems used in applications such as missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners, and synthesized sources. The position is listed for Monday through Friday on a day shift.

Requirements

At least 3 years of prior work experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid, and/or semiconductor assembly.
Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers, and experience working under a microscope.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person under U.S. export laws, or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
Ability to solder small surface-mount and through-hole parts.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills, including the ability to complete online training, use email, and perform computerized timekeeping.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to carefully follow written instructions.
IPC 610 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical assembly support for complex microwave subsystems in a production environment and meet daily output goals established by the lead.
Build circuit card assemblies, manually soldering surface-mount and through-hole components and applying conformal coating after soldering.
Follow production documentation and processes, including maintaining detailed records of rework performed.
Participate in daily production meetings.
