Assembler - Level 3 - Mon-Fri (Swing shift)
About The Position
The Assembler - Level 3 supports Honeywell Aerospace Integrated Supply Chain operations by applying advanced assembly skills and knowledge to manufacturing quality and productivity. The role works in a production environment assembling complex microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies. Circuit card assembly work includes manually soldering surface-mount and through-hole components and applying conformal coating after soldering. The assembler follows production documentation and processes, records rework in detail, and participates in daily production meetings. This position requires a U.S. Person under applicable export-control rules and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of prior work experience in microelectronic, RF, hybrid, and/or semiconductor assembly.
- Experience with wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, and epoxy attach.
- Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers, and experience working under a microscope.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Person under U.S. export laws or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
- Basic computer skills, including completing online training, using email, and computerized time-keeping.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to carefully follow written instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to solder small surface-mount and through-hole parts.
- IPC 610 certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical assembly support on complex microwave subsystems and meet daily output goals established by the lead.
- Build circuit card assemblies, manually soldering surface-mount and through-hole components and applying conformal coating after soldering.
- Follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of rework performed.
- Participate in daily production meetings.
