About The Position

Spacesaver is seeking an Assembler to build high-quality products by assembling mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies. The role uses precision tools and detailed instructions to meet product quality standards. Assemblers interpret shop orders, engineered drawings, and blueprints; handle and package small parts; perform quality inspections; and report production data through Spacesaver’s ERP system. The position follows manufacturing schedules and safety protocols, supports continuous improvement, and may assist in other work areas as needed. The listed schedule is 4:00 am–2:00 pm, with overtime when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with PC navigation, scanning, and data entry.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos in English; translation assistance is available upon request.
• Skill using precision measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, dial indicators, scales, and protractors.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic equipment.
• Interpret shop orders, engineered drawings, and blueprints to assemble products to specifications.
• Handle, count, and package small parts using precision scales and hand-count methods.
• Follow safety protocols, including Lock Out Tagout and ergonomic practices.
• Conduct quality inspections using blueprints and precision measuring devices.
• Maintain production efficiency and complete tasks according to manufacturing schedules.
• Use Spacesaver’s ERP system to manage shop orders and report production data.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in other work areas as needed.
• Work safely and adhere to scheduled hours, including overtime when required.
