About The Position

This is an onsite role on 2nd shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm, Mon–Fri) in the Pacific Time zone. You will help the organization meet customer quality and on-time delivery goals by accurately assembling and testing mechanical products. You will work closely with production, quality, and supervisory teams to support lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 0–1 year of general mechanical work experience
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong mechanical reasoning
• Ability to read blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications; perform basic math
• Able to stand approximately 50% of the time and lift up to 35 lbs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effective verbal and written communication and basic computer skills
• Willingness to follow safety rules; role is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug testing
• Must be able to make this position your primary employment (no second job)
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm, Mon–Fri)

Nice To Haves

• Automotive, car mechanic, or aircraft mechanic experience
• Experience applying lean manufacturing practices

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, fixtures, and inspection equipment
• Record test results and complete required data forms using basic electrical test equipment and flow meters
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives
• Produce and inspect assemblies to customer and industry standards; perform touch-up and surface painting as needed
• Participate in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities
• Maintain a safe, FOD-free work area and ensure equipment calibration per schedule
• May perform lockwiring, first-stage subassembly, and final detailing on routine assignments
