About The Position

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is hiring an Assembler Tester B at its Los Angeles, California facility, which designs and manufactures valves, regulators, and other fluid controls primarily for the aerospace industry. The role involves assembling, tearing down, and testing routine mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies of simple to moderate complexity for commercial and military products. The employee uses appropriate tooling and documentation, prepares test reports, performs lockwire/safety wire and nameplate work, and contributes to process improvements. Work includes material preparation such as lapping surfaces, visual inspection, in-process testing, and final Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) testing. The employee must keep tooling calibrated, follow operational and safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and may be temporarily reassigned to other production areas as needed. The position is on second shift. The hourly rate is $27.03, plus a $2.00-per-hour shift differential. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Los Angeles facility, except active-duty military candidates. No relocation benefit is offered. Eaton states that it offers health and welfare benefits, retirement benefits, and programs providing paid and unpaid time away from work. Specific programs and options may depend on eligibility factors, location, hire date, and collective bargaining agreements.
