About The Position

This is a full-time position in Irvine, CA, for an Assembler/Tester B. The role involves producing and testing mechanical and electromechanical assemblies to meet customer quality and on-time delivery expectations. The position is onsite on 2nd shift (1:30 pm - 10:00 pm) and is part of a supervised manufacturing team, contributing to lean initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–1 year general mechanical work experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications
• Basic mathematical, verbal, written, and computer skills
• Strong mechanical reasoning and ability to select appropriate procedures, tools, and equipment
• Ability to work in a team environment and participate in goal setting and performance feedback

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test operations using hand and power tools, fixtures, and test equipment
• Record test results and operate basic electrical equipment and flow meters
• Interpret blueprints, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives to produce conforming assemblies
• Conduct touch-up or full surface painting and related finishing tasks
• Maintain a FOD-free work area and ensure equipment is calibrated per schedule
• Identify and suggest improvements as part of lean initiatives
