About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace is hiring an Assembler II at its San Jose, California facility. The role supports production of advanced microwave subsystems, including missile front ends, radar receivers, wideband tuners, and synthesized sources. Work focuses on mechanical box builds and hand soldering to IPC 610 standards. The position supports daily production goals and requires following production documentation and processes.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working as a mechanical/solder assembler in a production environment.
Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers.
Experience working under a microscope.
Basic computer skills.
Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export laws, or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
Ability to carefully follow written instructions and communicate well in writing and verbally.

Nice To Haves

Ability to solder small surface-mount and through-hole parts.
IPC 610 certification.
Experience using automated assembly equipment, including pick-and-place and wire-bonding machines.

Responsibilities

Provide mechanical assembly support on complex microwave subsystems in a production environment and meet daily output goals established by the lead.
Build circuit card assemblies, including manually soldering surface-mount and through-hole components and applying conformal coating after soldering.
Follow production documentation and processes carefully, including keeping detailed records of rework performed.
Participate in daily production meetings.
