About The Position

The Assembler at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacture of advanced power solutions, will be responsible for assembling electronics components accurately according to specifications and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ Experience in Assembling or related work
  • Good Hand/Eye Coordination for handling and assembling parts with precision.
  • Able to work in the production floor and comfortable to encounter electrical and mechanical components.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic manual assembly with little or no special tools.
  • Assemble batteries, chargers and accessories following supervisor’s directions and work instructions.
  • Includes applying tape, heat shrink sleeve, hot melt glue cells, stripping wires, applying tie wraps.
  • Assist in applying labels to shipping boxes and/or pack products.
  • Maintain assigned safety equipment.
  • Maintain daily production quantity records.
  • Report anomalies and damaged equipment.
  • Consistently assemble daily expected quantities.
