About The Position

Goldshield is hiring an Assembler I at its Decatur, Indiana facility, which manufactures fiberglass parts and components for a range of vehicles and equipment. The role involves assembling fiberglass parts to Goldshield’s quality and production standards, using tools and fixtures appropriately, checking work against customer requirements, and supporting daily production goals. The assembler is expected to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and collaborate respectfully with team members.

Requirements

Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
Ability to follow work instructions, use basic tools and fixtures, and meet quality and quantity standards.
Ability to communicate professionally, follow directions, and work well in a team environment.
Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

Nice To Haves

Preferred one year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, fiberglass, production, or a related hands-on role.
Preferred high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Assemble fiberglass parts and components to meet Goldshield quality and production standards.
Use tools, fixtures, and supplies properly while minimizing scrap and rework.
Verify parts and finished work meet customer requirements before moving forward in production.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the shift.
Work respectfully with team members to support daily production goals.
