About The Position

Spartan Emergency Response (Spartan ER), part of Terex Corporation, designs, manufactures, and distributes custom emergency response vehicles, cabs, and chassis. The Assembler I installs and mounts electrical and non-electrical interior and exterior components and hardware, and assembles fabricated parts, components, and other units at work stations. The role involves reading blueprints and engineering specifications, meeting safety and manufacturing quality standards, and cleaning and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements

Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
Ability to use common hand tools and power tools, such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
Successful completion of drug and background screening.
Ability to operate and understand the operation of protective safety equipment in the area.
Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED.
