About The Position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. High Pressure Equipment Company (HiP), a subsidiary of Graco, Inc., is a premium supplier of high pressure valves, fittings and tubing with over 60 years of experience. The Assembler I is responsible for the production and completion of final and sub-assemblies for customers in a timely manner, maximizing quality and efficiency. This role also involves testing valves and pressure systems for sales orders.

Requirements

High School diploma and equivalent
Ability to perform continuous short cycle work with light to 40 lbs (or equivalent) weight materials
Ability to efficiently perform basic assembly from detailed instructions
Math, Blue Print Reading, and Measurement Skills
Ability to add and subtract decimals or fractions
3-6 months experience in manufacturing assembly operations
Math and blueprint reading for manufacturing

Responsibilities

Production/completion of final and sub-assemblies for customers on a timely basis maximizing quality and efficiency.
Test valves and pressure systems for sales orders.
Assemble, Set-up and operate all complicated assembly and test stations with close supervision.
Maintain required work efficiency and productively at all work stations.
Monitor daily quality of assemblies and communicate any discrepancies.
Other duties as assigned.
