About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Assembly Technician in Winooski, VT. As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, you will assemble products and components according to work instructions, mechanical drawings, and bills of materials. You will perform production tasks including assembly, measuring, mixing, filling, testing, and product verification. You will handle materials throughout the manufacturing process, including receiving, storing, distributing, and inventory management. You will conduct routine testing and basic repairs on assemblies and finished products. You will inspect raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met. You will maintain accurate production, quality, and inventory documentation. You will enter and retrieve data using ERP and manufacturing systems. You will follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and bills of materials.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in electromechanical assembly / test / inspection.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
