About The Position

Spartan Emergency Response (Spartan ER), part of Terex Corporation, designs, manufactures, and distributes custom emergency response vehicles, cabs, and chassis. The Assembler I installs and mounts electrical and non-electrical interior and exterior components and hardware, assembles fabricated parts and other units at workstations, and reads blueprints and engineering specifications. The role requires meeting safety and manufacturing quality standards, and cleaning and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality requirements. The work includes frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing ladders. Employees must be able to operate and understand the protective safety equipment used in the area, lift up to 40 pounds without assistance, and work in environments without temperature control. Requirements

Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
Ability to use common hand and power tools, such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
Successful completion of drug and background screening.
Ability to operate and understand the operation of protective safety equipment in the work area.
Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
High school diploma or GED is preferred.
