About The Position

The Assembler I performs limited electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature. The role assembles or installs electrical and/or mechanical components according to established documentation and specified sequences. It may also involve routine preparation for assembly, such as cutting wire to size, stripping, tinning or bending wire parts, wiring, and fastening terminal connections. The assembler may operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Entry-level position; generally requires less than one year of experience.
• Able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints, and/or wire lists.
• Able to use small hand tools, including soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
• Familiarity with general computer operation.
• Able to lift 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Quality System Regulation (QSR) experience.
• IPC Soldering Certification.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
