About The Position

The Assembler I (Brazer) supports general assembly and may work at any station during the workday based on staffing and production demands. Employees may rotate between workstations or be assigned to a specific station according to their experience, training, and skill level. The role may require obtaining certifications to operate Mules, Tuggers, Powered Industrial Trucks, Stackers, and/or Overhead Cranes, and obtaining and maintaining braze certification. This is an on-site, second-shift position.

Requirements

At least 3–6 months of experience.
Currently braze certified or willing to become braze certified.
Basic math skills, including understanding decimals and fractions for measurement.
Ability to read and write English to follow assembly directions, Work Order packets, and safety instructions.
Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation.
Good verbal communication and analytical/problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude.
Ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to lift 35 lbs. as requested.
Ability to learn more than one station.

Responsibilities

Perform production assembly.
Work in the designated workstation.
Meet Takt time.
Follow 5S standards for the work area.
Rotate to different workstations or work at a designated station as required by staffing and production needs.
