About The Position

The Assembler Apprentice assembles mechanical and electrical components, performs functional testing, and packs and crates products. The role includes training with peers and interacting with multiple internal departments. Employees are expected to support workplace safety and comply with company and government policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. The position also promotes Mirion (Conax Nuclear)’s Standard of Excellence and a culture of ethical behavior, honesty, and integrity.

Requirements

• Basic use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to read and understand prints.
• Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure or scale.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Verbal and listening skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in oral and written form.
• Ability to understand another person’s speech.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform mechanical and electrical functional testing.
• Pack and crate products.
• Train with peers and interface with multiple internal departments.
• Help ensure employees can go home safely at the end of the working day.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including the Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and Operational Framework.
