About The Position

Performs repetitive work station or line assembly operations and assembles units to completion. Operates various machinery and performs carpentry-related tasks. Installs lights and wiring, and operates forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.

Requirements

• High school education, and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to do heavy lifting.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Full range of physical motion throughout the torso.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices.

Responsibilities

• Ensures any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
• Operates press brake to assemble sheets.
• Operates automatic fastener machine to secure lining to side walls.
• Operates index machine.
• Performs carpenter related work.
• Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.
• Installs lights and wiring.
• Operates fork lift as required.
• Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
• Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
