About The Position

The ASR Lineman maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment, follows safety regulations, and operates production equipment according to established procedures and guidelines. The role participates in CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the company’s safety culture. Other tasks may be assigned by the supervisor. The position involves work in an industrial environment and in all weather conditions, with physical tasks such as lifting, carrying or pushing materials, climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is preferred. Metal-sorting experience is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to frequently lift 25 pounds or more and carry or push objects up to 100 feet.
Ability to perform physical job tasks, including climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
Ability to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all weather elements.

Nice To Haves

Metal-sorting experience, including the ability to distinguish between different metals and/or other materials for grading purposes and recognize safety hazards.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
