About The Position
Rose Paving LLC is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Operator for parking lot projects. The operator will be responsible for the efficient operation of paving equipment, ensuring materials are installed according to project specifications and quality standards. This role also involves maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, providing daily updates, and ensuring smooth coordination throughout project phases.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in operating paving equipment, specifically for parking lot projects
- Proficient Pave Box Operator
- Adept on Auger speeds, feed controls, flow gates, etc.
- Skilled in automatic grade and slope controls, crown position, vibratory controls, extensions and cut off shoes
- Experience with setting passes
- Experience determining yields
- Experience with trucking schedules
- Experience with pace setting efficiencies
- Experience with proper drainage and aesthetics evaluations
- Ability to monitor the mat and yield daily
- Versatile and able to control team operations
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A minimum of 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Broad understanding of Rose Paving's business
- Proven abilities in the preparation and installation of Asphalt

- Managing trucking schedules
- Achieving pace setting efficiencies
- Evaluating proper drainage and aesthetics
- Monitoring the mat and yield daily
