About The Position
The Asphalt Paving Foreman guides a crew of 10 through asphalt paving operations on heavy highway projects. Working onsite with the client, the foreman brings workers, equipment, and resources together so paving progresses safely and stays on schedule. The role directs daily activities, coordinates field operations, communicates changing priorities, and keeps project managers informed about progress and onsite concerns.
Requirements
- Organizational ability to coordinate personnel, machinery, and other resources for highway paving work.
- Clear communication skills to direct workers and keep project managers informed about progress, operational needs, and emerging concerns.

Nice To Haves
- Previous asphalt paving experience.
- A track record of leading crews, giving direction, and coordinating people during field operations.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily paving activities, set clear priorities for crew members, and explain how their assignments support ongoing work.
- Arrange equipment and supporting resources for upcoming tasks.
- Coordinate crew activities and equipment throughout paving operations.
- Update project managers on completed work, onsite conditions, and concerns requiring attention.
- Reinforce safe working practices while guiding the team toward timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Communicate revised priorities and changing field conditions promptly.
