About The Position
Knife River is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Division-Foreman to lead and coordinate daily asphalt paving operations. This role involves supervising crew members to ensure quality, productivity, and safety, while communicating with superintendents, plant, and trucking to maintain efficient production. The ideal candidate will ensure proper paving techniques, grades, and mat quality are met, enforce safety procedures and jobsite best practices, and train and mentor crew members. Requirements
- Proven experience as a paving foreman in asphalt operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of paving equipment, techniques, and job sequencing
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage long hours and changing conditions
- Safety-first mindset with a team-oriented attitude
