This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) ASOSU Student Wellbeing Coordinator for the ASOSU at Oregon State University (OSU). The ASOSU Student Wellbeing Coordinator serves on the ASOSU President's Policy Team to advocate for and support priorities aimed at improving food affordability, reducing food insecurity, community livability, social justice, and other related priorities. This position’s service for the campus community carries a particular focus on basic needs, as well as supporting legislative advocacy with the Policy Team. This position will play a key role in shaping and advancing student-centered legislative and policy initiatives that address basic needs insecurity by researching policies, coordinating advocacy efforts, and collaborating with campus and community stakeholders to promote systemic solutions in areas such as food security, housing, resource accessibility, tuition affordability, food accessibility and benefits navigation.
