About The Position

HealthPro Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is hiring a part-time ASL Interpreter for a school setting in Pasco County, Florida. The position is 10 hours per week, is W-2, and offers compensation of $38–$41 per hour. The interpreter facilitates communication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and individuals involved in the educational process. Communication methods may include sign language, oral interpreting, real-time captioning, and other resources needed to accommodate students qualified to receive these services. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
A National Interpreter Certification (NIC), Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) credential, National Association of the Deaf (NAD) credential, Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) credential, or an educator’s certificate.
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a deaf-related field.
Experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities
