About The Position

DreamWorks Animation is seeking an Artist Management Intern for the studio. The Artist Management team is responsible for managing the Feature Production Departments at the Studio. The DreamWorks Internship Program offers interns the opportunity to work in an engaging and exciting environment alongside creative leaders and artists committed to building an inclusive and collaborative culture. Interns are immersed into TV and Feature animated productions while gaining hands-on experience at our studio. This program is open to students and recent graduates who are driven, curious, resourceful, and passionate about animation. The program also includes executive speaker series, professional/career development workshops, artistic classes, community outreach opportunities, and movie screenings.

Requirements

Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent)
Ability to commit 10 weeks to the internship
Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Candidates should be well organized, highly self-motivated individuals who function independently in fast-paced, frenetic production based environments.
Confident and proactive with excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) and feel comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of Google Suite office management software (Sheets, Docs, Gmail, etc.).

Nice To Haves

Film/Cinema, Communications, Media Studies or related majors preferred.

Responsibilities

Work closely with assigned Departments and provide day-to-day administrative support.
Support various Departments while working alongside Coordinators and VP of Artistic Resource Management.
