About The Position

DreamWorks Animation is seeking adventurous and growth-minded individuals to join their Fall 2026 Internship Program. This program offers interns the opportunity to work on feature and TV productions, gaining hands-on experience in the animation pipeline and creative process. Interns will collaborate with creative leaders and artists in an inclusive and engaging environment. The program also includes executive speaker series, professional development workshops, artistic classes, community outreach, and movie screenings. DreamWorks values diverse experiences, frequent communication, transparency, and trust, fostering a community of passionate artists, technologists, innovators, and creators.

Requirements

Knowledge of office management software (Excel, Word, Gmail, etc.) is vital.
Candidates should be well organized, highly self-motivated individuals who function well in fast-paced, frenetic production based environments.
Must be confident and proactive with excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
Must feel comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be willing to work in Glendale, California.
Ability to provide own relocation, housing and transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Film/TV, Animation/Illustration, Media Studies or related majors preferred.
Proven understanding of FlowPro (formerly Shotgrid) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Be assigned to either a feature film or TV production to gain insight into production responsibilities, workflows, and processes.
Observe and learn about the animation pipeline and creative process.
Handle various production activities under the direction of their Production Manager.
Help to take on new challenges to gain a more detailed knowledge of the animation industry, animated television or feature pipeline and workflows.
