About The Position

The AI Solutions Lead advances responsible AI adoption across Emory University and serves as the primary engagement lead for AI-related requests, consultations, pilots, and emerging opportunities, including Claude for Education, Claude Code, Claude Cowork, NebulaOne, and future approved services. The role operates Emory’s AI Concierge function, helping faculty, researchers, healthcare teams, administrative units, and technology organizations identify, evaluate, and implement high-value AI use cases. Its focus is stakeholder engagement, use case development, pilot execution, and value realization—not platform administration, user provisioning, day-to-day service operations, or custom software engineering. The position leads intake, discovery, and consultation; advises stakeholders on appropriate approved services and implementation approaches, including no-code and low-code tools; and plans, executes, and evaluates pilots. It coordinates with relevant governance and review stakeholders, supports governance council discussions, and helps mature the AI Concierge’s intake, lifecycle, and engagement processes. The role tracks requests, pilots, and outcomes; identifies patterns and opportunities; and develops business cases and executive updates on realized value. Working closely with the AI Platform and Service Lead, the AI Solutions Lead helps transition successful pilots into operational services and supports onboarding and adoption for active engagements. This includes targeted materials, FAQs, office hours, demonstrations, and other enablement resources, in partnership where appropriate with campus learning organizations. The scope is adoption directly connected to active engagements and service delivery, rather than institution-wide training, community-of-practice administration, or champion-network development. The role may coordinate vendors, consultants, or cross-functional working groups and perform other related duties as needed in a function being built from the ground up. Tasks can be performed remotely, with only occasional supported visits to an Emory University location. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to the employee.

  • Partner with faculty, researchers, and administrative units to define use cases, gather requirements, and establish success metrics.

  • Coordinate with security, data governance, accessibility, procurement, legal, and compliance stakeholders to route and review requests appropriately.

  • Maintain a centralized inventory of requests, pilots, and outcomes; identify patterns and gaps; and develop business cases and executive updates on realized value.
  • Work with the AI Platform and Service Lead to transition successful pilots into operational services, including readiness, onboarding, and adoption planning.
  • Support adoption of approved AI services for active use cases, pilots, and implementations through onboarding materials, FAQs, office hours, demonstrations, and other targeted enablement resources.
  • Partner with the AI Platform and Service Lead and campus learning organizations where appropriate.
  • Coordinate vendors, consultants, or cross-functional working groups as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
