About The Position
This is a student worker position in the Art Studio at the College of DuPage. The Art Studio Aide will assist in the cleaning, maintenance, and organization of various art studios, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and design. Responsibilities include cleaning, mopping, organizing tools and supplies, and performing other maintenance duties as needed within the art program.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds routinely, with occasional overhead lifting.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.
- Must be able to be organized and dependable.
Nice To Haves
- COD Student who has taken one or more studio art courses required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of art studios.
- Perform a variety of cleaning and non-specialized maintenance duties.
- Assist in the operation and organization of the art studios, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, and design.
- Cleaning, mopping, organization of tools and supplies, and additional maintenance duties within the art program as needed.
Benefits
