About The Position

Adelphoi is seeking a casual A.R.T. Facilitator to conduct Community-Based A.R.T. cycles in Allegheny County. Aggression Replacement Training (A.R.T.) is a 10-week program that includes a 3-hour session each week. The sessions are scheduled for Tuesday evenings from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the CISP center in Wilkinsburg, PA.

Requirements

• Currently a trained A.R.T. Facilitator.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment clearances/screenings/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Co-facilitate scheduled sessions with other A.R.T. facilitators.
• Complete necessary intake paperwork with assigned youth.
• Maintain all progress records, including weekly and monthly reports.
• Communicate with the placing juvenile probation officer regarding the progress of youth, including absences from the group.
• Communicate with family members concerning the progress of youth.
• Reschedule sessions in the event of cancellation due to weather or other circumstances.
• Continuously assess program implementation and effectiveness to make necessary adjustments to service delivery.
