About The Position
The Sculpture Shopkeeper monitors the Wood and Metalworking Sculpture Studios to ensure a safe working environment for students while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized shop space. They also work in the tool room to check out materials to students when needed.
Requirements
- Must have taken the 3D Foundations course at St. Olaf
- Requires promptness, attention to detail, and safety consciousness
- Knowledge and experience with woodworking and metalworking tools and processes
- Ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities
- Monitor student safety in Wood and Metalworking Studios
- Check in and out tools and equipment
- Organize and tidy equipment and spaces
- Provide light assistance and support to students
- Assist with tasks identified by the Art Department Studio Technician
