About The Position

XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO). Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ Years of related experience
  • Virtualization experience: VMWare, Windows Hyper-V, etc.
  • ePO and database administration
  • Diagnostic abilities to solve network/system/server/client technical issues associated with maintaining management network and implementation of AESS solutions.
  • Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco computing environment: command line interface, PowerShell, scripting (script analysis and development).
  • Secret security clearance to start; must be able to acquire and maintain Top-Secret
  • IAT-III baseline certification IAW former DoDD 8570.01: SecurityX (CASP+), CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
  • Must complete ePO 201, 301, and 501 within 180 days of start

  • McAfee/Trellix experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the deployment, operation, installation, and maintenance (DOIM) of AESS endpoint protection components: data loss prevention (DLP), policy auditor (PA), intrusion detection system (IDS) and overall AESS server, database administration, and local ePO policy management and implementation
  • Prepare and produce AESS reporting requirements in compliance with Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS) and contribute towards Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
  • Supports implementation of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), IAVA monitoring and application, system vulnerability scanning/mitigation/remediation of findings across the site’s IS infrastructure.
  • Collaborating and coordinating with team members (contractor and government) to ensure ePO/AESS performance and implementation in support of site operations.
  • Participates and contributes to monthly change control boards (CCB).
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required to support customer requirements.
