About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking an Armenian Teacher for a client in Vancouver, Canada. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general Armenian course. The total hours are 20, with sessions lasting two hours each. The student is a beginner, aged 18-24, and the preferred schedule is twice per week, on Monday or Tuesday afternoons. The location can be the trainer's office. The start date is as soon as possible.
Requirements
- Native Armenian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 30 km of Vancouver, Canada.
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Armenian language training to a beginner student.
- Adapt training to the student's motivation for learning Armenian (travel to Armenia and communication with an Armenian friend).
- Conduct two-hour sessions, twice per week.
- Potentially use the trainer's office for sessions.
- Be available for sessions on Mondays or Tuesdays, preferably in the afternoon.
