About The Position

Walden Security is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a client in Fountain City. The officer serves as the building’s first point of contact and protects client property against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. The position calls for a detail-oriented, alert, and responsive person with a friendly but professional demeanor and a clean-cut appearance. The officer must assess complex situations, identify potential risks, and determine appropriate responses. The role requires standing for long periods. The listed schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the pay rate is $20 per hour. A valid Tennessee Armed Security License must be in hand; a concealed carry permit does not qualify as a Tennessee armed license.

Requirements

Valid Tennessee Armed Security License in hand; a concealed carry permit is not a substitute.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Keen attention to detail, a friendly but professional demeanor, and a clean-cut image.
Ability to assess complex situations, identify potential risks, and determine appropriate reactions.
Alertness and responsiveness.
