About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Plymouth MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries, including Government and transportation. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to situations, and deliver exceptional customer service. This armed role requires a valid concealed carry weapons permit and a commitment to integrity, reliability, and collaboration.

Requirements

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
1+ Years of Previous Security Experience
Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or public agencies.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.
Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.
