About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Lawrence MA. As a Security Officer in Lawrence, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government transportation locations.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, roadways, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports on patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, while following applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal procedures.
