About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Plymouth MA. As a Security Officer in Plymouth, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will support a caring, reliable team that puts people first, works with integrity, and delivers innovative solutions through teamwork. A concealed carry weapons permit is required for this armed position.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to government transportation facility personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, adjacent grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Monitor access points and help enforce visitor, employee, contractor, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate observed hazards, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
