About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in government transportation locations. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $25.88 per hour. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 PM to 7 AM. Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate relevant observations and incident details to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
