Armed Security Officer - Tacoma - LE Exp Preferred
About The Position
Provide a safe and welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors while protecting company assets at a retail location. Serve as a visible security presence focused on customer service, conflict resolution, de-escalation, and incident prevention. Use sound judgment and professionalism to resolve situations without physical interaction. The role is available at multiple locations in Kent, Puyallup, and Tacoma. Applicants should denote their preferred work schedule in the application. The posting lists day and swing shifts, with preference given to applicants willing to work any shift, including graveyard shifts. Pay is $27.50–$37.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and assignment. Uniforms and equipment are provided by the employer, but the officer must provide their own firearm and lease it to the company; firearms must be from an approved list.
Requirements
- Must possess law enforcement or military experience.
- Must be able to provide a personal firearm and lease it to the company; the firearm must be on the company's approved list.
Nice To Haves
- Current security license preferred.
- Law enforcement experience preferred, as indicated in the job title.
