About The Position

Pac-Tac Protective Solutions is hiring Armed Protection Officers for armed posts, with additional opportunities for candidates interested in armed patrol. The role is suited to approachable, dependable, and ethical professionals with at least three years of verifiable law enforcement experience. Assignments include protecting retail locations and high-end luxury apartments, providing secured transports and standbys for a government client, and working plain-clothes details. Pay depends on qualifications and job assignment and ranges from $31.50 to $45.00 per hour. Officers must supply their own duty equipment, including a ballistic vest and firearm.

Requirements

At least 3 years of verifiable law enforcement experience; accepted experience includes sworn police officer, reserve police officer, military police, corrections officer, and parole and probation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Must have own duty equipment, including a ballistic vest and firearm.
High school education or equivalent.
Night, day, and overnight shift availability is required.

Nice To Haves

Oregon Armed Security License or certification is preferred; candidates must be able to obtain it as a condition of employment.
Washington or Oregon Armed Security License is listed as preferred.
10 years of law enforcement experience with HR218 is preferred.
Interest in armed patrol.
Willingness to travel up to 25% is preferred.
