About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location in Fort Worth, Texas. This driving post involves monitoring and patrolling the site, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to situations, documenting activity, and providing customer service and communication. The role includes scheduled shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Carry authorized equipment and firearms in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
