You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Hold CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Complete required daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
