About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Plymouth MA Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 AM - 6 PM Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience As a Security Officer in Plymouth, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, hazardous conditions, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Operate in accordance with post orders and applicable firearm protocols, maintaining preparedness to support public-facing operations and coordinated response efforts when needed.
