About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Haverhill MA. This role involves serving and safeguarding clients in various industries, including Government. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support the public with exceptional customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift while contributing to a caring, people-first culture.

Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic public spaces, verifying access permissions and reporting policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support traffic and pedestrian flow during routine operations, special events, and/or emergency situations while following post orders and applicable site procedures.
