About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a State Site in Danvers MA. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM. Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Candidates Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Security Experience. Requirements

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• 1+ Years of Security Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and public agency contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned facilities, roadways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, screen for unauthorized entry, and verify credentials, permits, and/or vehicle access requirements in accordance with post orders and site procedures.
• Support emergency and public assistance efforts by providing directions, reporting hazards or suspicious activity, and coordinating with law enforcement, first responders, and/or authorized personnel when needed.
